Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Rewarda. By using Rewarda as a guest, merchant or staff member you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission where the law allows, and have the authority to accept these terms. Some venues and games are for adults only.

Rewarda lets venues and shops run menus, table ordering, campaigns, rewards and live games, and lets guests pay, play and win. Rewarda provides the software. Each merchant is responsible for the goods, drinks, food, events and prizes it offers.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your PIN and any codes private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think your account has been used without your permission.

We may suspend or close an account that is used to cheat, defraud or abuse the service or other people.

Payments are processed by Paystack. Card, bank and USSD payments are subject to Paystack's terms and may take a short time to confirm.

Merchants fund a Rewarda wallet to pay game passes and platform fees. Merchants give rewards and prizes to customers themselves. Funds in the wallet are used for those purposes. Platform fees and plan prices are shown in the app before you confirm them and may change with notice.

Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their prices, stock and bank details, and for any taxes that apply to their sales.

When a guest places a table order, the venue decides whether to accept it. Refunds and cancellations for goods and services are between the guest and the venue. If a payment was taken twice or by mistake, the guest should tell the venue and Rewarda, and we will help resolve it with the merchant and Paystack.

• Rewards and prizes are offered by the merchant running the campaign or game. Their terms, such as minimum spend, dates and limits, apply.
• A reward or prize must be confirmed by the venue before it is handed over. Codes may expire and can be used once.
• Game results, scores and rankings shown by Rewarda are final unless there is a clear technical fault.
• Prizes have no cash value unless the merchant says so, and cannot be sold or transferred unless the merchant allows it.

Do not cheat, use more than one account to gain an advantage, share answers during a live game in a way the venue forbids, or interfere with the service.

Merchants must have the right to run their business and any promotion, hold any licences or approvals needed for the games, drinks, events or prizes they offer, follow Nigerian law and advertising rules, and honour the rewards and prizes they promise. Merchants must write any custom game questions themselves or have the right to use them, and must not include unlawful, hateful or misleading content.

• Do not break the law or help anyone else do so.
• Do not try to access other people's accounts or data, or probe or disrupt our systems.
• Do not upload harmful, abusive or infringing content.
• Do not use bots or scripts to automate play, orders or sign-ups unless we have agreed.

Rewarda owns the software, design and brand. You keep ownership of content you add, such as menu items, photos and custom questions, and give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service for you.

We work to keep Rewarda available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. We may update, add or remove features. We may also change these terms; when we do we will update the date above, and continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms.

To the extent the law allows, Rewarda is not liable for losses caused by a merchant's goods, services or prizes, by third-party services such as payment providers or networks, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using Rewarda at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as payment obligations and liability, will continue.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions about these terms: contact@rewarda.ng.
